World Skiing at its Best

If you love skiing you~ve most likely had fantasies about
practicing your sport at a world class ski resort. You
actually have a number of choices for living out your
dream. If you really want to fulfill your dream all you
need to do is commit to your idea and make up your mind to
do it. With the right attitude you may soon find yourself
at a fabulous resort in the best snow imaginable.
Aspen in Colorado is one such coveted skiing destination.
There is a run there for skiers of all levels on one of the
four mountains. If you~re an expert skier you~ll want to
try one of the back runs in the wild terrain of the largest
mountain.
North America has yet another great ski resort, this time
located in Quebec, Canada. Mont-Tremblant is eastern
Canada~s finest ski resort that recently had a billion
dollar makeover. After you~re done skiing the slopes
you~ll want to take a side trip into the city of Montreal
which is just an hour away. Montreal is an historic and
beautiful city that has a multitude of things for you to do
when you~re not skiing.
Banff and Lake Louise are two other popular Canadian ski
areas. They are only 25 miles apart. Lake Louise is said to
be the most beautiful and Banff the more challenging.
For those of you who want to travel to Europe to take in
some sightseeing along with your skiing you~ll want to put
Cortina in Italy on your list of skiing destinations. This
ski resort in the Alps was host to the 1956 winter Olympic
games and continues to be a popular destination for European
skiers.
Another great European ski resort is Kitzbuhel in Austria.
This resort is one of the most alive and hopping resorts of
the world and was host to the winter Olympics in both 1976
and 1964. The nickname of this skiing destination is ~Pearl
of the Alps~ because of it is considered to be a prize found
among the mountains. People have been skiing the slopes of
this resort since 1892.
The top skiing destination in the world is Whistler/
Blackcomb in British Columbia, Canada. The village of
Whistler is part of the delight of skiing at this resort,
since it is open year round and holds great charm with its
many cafes and restaurants, of which there are over 100.
After a day spent skiing the slopes of the mountain you~ll
be able to indulge in dining and dancing in the village
before getting some rest for your next day of skiing.
Start researching the many fabulous destinations to ski all
over the world. You will need time to plan your ski
vacation and choose your resort.
